BATIK is a traditional Indonesian fabric obtained through a combination of hand-dyeing and wax printing. This process creates unique patterns with fascinating colors.
IMPORTANT: A true batik has the same color and design on both sides, so it doesn't have a right or wrong side. It can be used interchangeably, which makes it much easier to work with, especially in complex patchwork projects. If you turn it over and it is lighter on the reverse side, it is not authentic batik!
The displayed images may differ in the actual tone of the batik due to the brightness settings of the screen on which they are viewed.
